Comme des Garçons and Paul & Joe celebrate cats
The cat’s in the limelight with Comme des Garçon’s new perfume for Grace Coddington, and Paul & Joe lipsticks.
Hot on the heels of the magazine Monocle, the Serpentine Gallery and Pharrell Williams, Comme des Garçons unveils its latest collaboration with the queen of avant-garde, Grace Coddington. In a quirky flacon with a cat’s head, scents of rose, crisp notes of mint, pepper, basil and cardamom linger over a bed of enveloping woody and amber tones.
GRACE BY GRACE CODDINGTON. Available in 50 and 100ml, 90 and 120 euros. On sale at Colette and in Comme des Garçons boutiques.
Drawing inspiration from Japanese confectioners, the brand’s cat-mascot gets colourful in the midst of a nuanced tube resulting in a very kawaï lipstick. The orange blossom water and cocoa butter blended with lavender and jojoba oils nourish, hydrate and soften. Catamaran, Smooth Sailing and Ahoy! Lipsticks, PAUL & JOE. 19 euros.
