A$ap Rocky and Jonathan Anderson.
The prince of hip-hop and self-proclaimed fashion killa A$ap Rocky has signed a capsule collection for J.W. Anderson affirming once again his passion for edgy fashion. It was at the crazy after show party held at the Ace Hotel, with guests including FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson, that the designer and New York rapper launched their collaboration.
After being seen in Raf Simons, Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester and Gosha Rubchinskiy, A$ap Rocky wears a J.W. Anderson t-shirt in the music video Jukebox Joints.
Revealing his admiration for the English designer, he's quickly become the new ambassador for the brand: “Jonathan is a designer who follows his instinct and J.W. Anderson has a unique aesthetic. AWGE is built on the same values, that's why this collaboration works so well.”
From beanie and fake fur baseball jacket to zip-up hoodie and sweatpants… the whole lot embellished with the “JWA x AWGE”, the eight pieces in the collection form a complete wardrobe for the perfect gangsta/dandy in the hood, who's become a veritable icon these last few years.
