Gucci Garden, Alessandro Michele’s first capsule collection

Alessandro Michele, artistic director at Gucci presents Gucci Garden, a collection featuring exclusive prints available uniquely on the fashion house’s website.

After presenting his 2017 Cruise collection at Westminster Abby, closely followed by the spring-summer 2017 menswear in Milan, Alessandro Michele, artistic director at Gucci, unveils his first capsule collection, Gucci Garden, available today and exclusively on the brand’s website.

The new motifs imagined by the artistic director, in vibrant colours against black and white backgrounds, continue to impose a new romantico-hippie aesthetic playing with gender boundaries: flowers, butterflies and ladybirds, birds and snakes all appear as patches or prints on dresses with lavallière bows, pleated skirts, jeans, silk bomber jackets, knitted gilets and even the iconic Dionysus handbag.
