Aaron comes back with a handmade video for “The Leftovers”
The French duo Aaron comes back with a homemade video including delicate paper cut-outs, directed by Damien Blottiere.
Revealed by the song U-Turn (Lili), title track of Philippe Lioret Je vais bien, ne t'en fais pas in 2006, the French duo Aaron (acronym for Artificial Animals Riding On Neverland) with its two members Simon Buret and Olivier Coursier comes back with a new single, The Leftovers. Former student of the Parisian art school Dupperé passionate about photomontage, Damien Blottiere delivers a video in which DIY meets art, by assembling delicate paper cut-outs and pictures of the musicians, thereafter animated in stop-motion. The result is an ensemble of graphic and poetic settings modelled on the pop track and its catching chorus from their album We Cut The Night released in 2015.
