Irving Penn at the Grand Palais
Photography September 21st 2017
Irving Penn would have been 100 years old this year. To celebrate this anniversary, the Grand Palais is showing a vast retrospective that retraces the 70-year career of this legendary American photographer. It brings together some 240 images, from fashion and still life to portraits, nudes and street scenes. An opportunity to see among other things his famous ‘Small Trades’ series taken between 1950 and 1951, of working men and women.
