Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2023 Men’s show pays a last tribute to Virgil Abloh
At the Louvre’s Cour Carrée, in a playful and colorful setting, the Louis Vuitton Men's studio presents a Spring-Summer 2023 collection that combines the philosophy and legacy of its late artistic director Virgil Abloh, who died in November 2021. As rapper Kendrick Lamar delivers an intense performance, silhouettes reinvest traditional tailoring through loose or baggy cuts, flashy colors, and bold details, such as XXL buttons, three-dimensional embroidery, and childish patterns. Standing as a celebration of imagination and creativity, this show closes a chapter and paves the way for a new era.
