Valentino celebrates the eternal beauty of Rome
Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, Valentino’s talented artistic directors, are back with the release of a new volume, “Valentino: Mirablila Romae,” on the powerful influence of Rome on the famous house.
In "Mirabilia Romae” Valentino celebrates eternal Rome, the city that has been such a significant inspiration to the house since its founding in 1959. With some 300 images of architectural drawings, inspiration boards and designs immortalized by the photographer Laziz Hamani, the work plunges us into the baroque and refined atmosphere of the city and the designs of the house’s artistic directors. It is a journey between history, culture and couture at the heart of Italian sophistication.
