Which designers are joining Moncler’s creative teams?
Moncler is rethinking its creative strategy by calling on 8 designers with very different styles to sketch out its vision of the future.
At the end of 2017, Moncler announced it would be ending its collections with Giambattista Valli and Thom Browne to define a new global orientation for the brand. Today the Italian label is gradually revealing its projects to come. Through the Moncler Genius project Remo Ruffini is calling upon new creative energies to animate his label. The main idea is to multiply the ideas and then erase individualities to nourish its authenticity.
To fashion the vision of a future Moncler, Remo Ruffini has engaged Pierpaolo Picicoli, artistic director at Valentino, Englishman in New-York Karl Templer, designer Sandro Mandrino, Irish designer Simone Rocha, Englishman Craig Green, Japanese designers Kei Ninomiya and Hiroshi Fujiwara as well as Francesco Ragazzi of Palms Angels.
Remo Ruffini will release more details of these projects at a conference on February 20th to inaugurate Milan Fashion Week.
