Exclusive video: love between women by Proenza Schouler

Numéro exclusively unveils “PS I Love You”, a clip directed by Harley Weir for Proenza Schouler. A beautiful portrait of women couples without pretence (friends, lovers...), wearing key pieces from the Pre-Fall 2016 Proenza Schouler collection.

Winces, saliva, edible flowers, petals in between toes... “PS I Love You (Ithigi Lithigove Yithigou)”, video directed by the photographer Harley Weiz for Proenza Schouler, presents a beautiful portrait of relationships between women, where complicity rules all.

Mothers, daughters, sisters, lovers and friends lay themselves bare and explain through anecdotes and gestures the singularity of their love for each other, and the complexity of their bonds as women. “Liz was there. We hugged and cracked jokes the whole time. Everyone went out for drinks afterward and while sitting next to each other in a booth, thighs sweating against one another (it was August), she slapped me in the face… hard. Don't remember why, but I liked it.” recounts Adele Thibodeaux about how she met  Liz Hopkins, both among the sixteen heroins of the short film.

Each is wearing key pieces from the Pre-Fall Proenza Schouler 2016 collection, and plays with the new line of Hava bags, one of the brand’s signature accessories. Delicate, pure by its simplicity, “PS I Love You” is an elegant demonstration of love for women, and fashion.
