Supreme x Nobuyoshi Araki : a sulfurous collaboration
After Larry Clarke, Roy Linchtenstein or even David Lynch, the iconic American brand Supreme unveils a new collaboration that celebrates erotism, in collaboration with the Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki.
The capsule collection released in early November and already sold-out unveiled three limited-edition items : a hoodie, a round-collar shirt with long sleeves and another with short sleeves. These sweats are ornamented with pictures taken by Araki himself, celebrating the organic erotism that became the actual signature of the Japanese artist.
The artistic setting of the lookbook is inspired by Kinbaku-bi, the art of Japanese bondage. The young and lascivious Kiko Mizuhara is divinely posing, tied-up in front of the photographer’s lens to present these pieces. The precious pictures from this lookbook are assembled in a book that was released with the collection.
Supreme x Nobuyoshi Araki available on www.supremenewyork.com and in all Paris, Londres, New York and Los Angeles stores.
