Dior spring-summer 2016 fashion show

The Dior show by Raf Simons was, once more, a mind-blowing affair amidst a sumptuous display of blue flowers.

Every season Raf Simons reinvents Christian Dior’s flower garden. This was no exception as a veritable hill planted with delphiniums greeted the guests at the Louvre’s Cour Carrée. Inside there was a wall of the same blooms. In perfect tune, this spring-summer 2016 collection radiated a beautiful serenity. The designer coupled broad shouldered sweaters with shorts in white cotton organza, which almost looked like night wear, and transparent dresses with graphic motifs. Black Bar jackets structured the looks. A hint of bondage spiced up these moments of grace: the models hair was knotted and held in place by tight-fitting necklaces.
