Hermès spring-summer 2016 show
At Hermès this season, the very quintessence of classical French savoir-faire is honoured.
At Hermès, the very quintessence of classical French savoir-faire is honoured. Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski alternates monochrome silhouettes with printed silhouettes. Everything starts out black before moving into large black and white checks. The minimalist cuts are enhanced by a contrasting trim, then a “Hermès scarf” print that intelligently slides into the seams of pleated skirts. A series of suits and arty dresses follow on, embellished with architectural forms: lozenges, rectangles and straight lines. Pierre Hardy completes the collection with his nineties-style sneakers with rubber soles.
