Mugler spring-summer 2016 show
For this new collection David Koma showed a squadron of Amazonians in navy blue, black, khaki and orange uniforms inspired by silhouettes from the Navy. Sensual and magnetic.
Beneath the aegis of a life-size ship’s prow, his young heroines channelled an image of the Mugler woman: sensual, magnetic and sure of herself. With their silhouettes inspired by the Navy and sailor’s uniforms, David Koma sketched out a squadron of Amazonians in navy and then khaki uniforms. In monochromatic dresses and suits, his women with their frank sensuality are swathed in asymmetric cuts, transparent layers and are even tempted by splashes of metallic fabrics. The talented young designer David Koma also just launched a brand new line of handbags for Mugler.
