Justice comes back with a new major video “Randy”
With a new album called “Woman” to be released on 18th november, Justice unveils “Randy”, their new hypnotic video.
A wall made out of TVs designed by the graphic designer Thomas Jumin and some colourful dance sonorities, Randy, the new music video of Justice is captivating. After five years of absence, Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay revealed Safe and Sound, first piece from their highly-anticipated album Woman to be released on 18th november. “The idea of this installation made out of screens was born from an interest for the effective and minimal light shows in concerts, explains Thomas Jumin. The object in itself, the CRT Trinitron screen from SONY, is truly inconic to people from a certain generation, a cult due to its design but also to the very specific quality of the images that it diffuses. The challenge was to build this installation made out of twenty-five TVs from 1987, and to make it function thanks to analog converters and video controllers. We wanted to shoot it in the most simple way possible, just like we would shoot an artistic installation, to keep the authority and the repetitive simplicity that these objects evoke.”
