His 11th album Raise Vibration will be released on September 7th. And to give us a little taster, New Yorker Lenny Kravitz has already released two videos for It’s Enough and Low. For the second, it’s none other than Jean-Baptiste Mondino who slipped behind the camera, a regular music video maker who did C’est comme çafor Rita Mitsouko, Tandem for Vanessa Paradis and Osez Joséphine for Alain Bashung – each of which won him a Victoire de la Musique award…

When Lenny played me Low I instantly fell in love with the song, the tempo and his voice, I know he’s an awesome drummer, so I suggested we make a real MUSIC video,” explains the photographer. The result: a black and white short film featuring Lenny Kravitz and the musician Jaz behind a drum, punctuating a condensed ultra-groove funk accompanied by a sample of Michael Jackson’s instantly recognised voice.
