Metronomy unveils new hypnotizing video for “Hang me out to dry”, a duo with Robyn
After the singles “Old Skool” and “Night Owl”, it's now the turn of the electro-pop track “Hang me out to dry” from Metronomy's last album to get its video.
Released last July, the fourth album from the british band Metronomy, Summer 08 showed that it was more than an ephemeral summer soundtrack. Following the footsteps of the ultra-melodic pop pastilles from Love Letters (2014), they now unveil 10 tracks with complex rythmic structures, like Back Together or Mick Slow. Hang me out to dry is an exception as it was recorded in duo with the Swedish pop-star Robyn.
Quentin Dupieux already set the bar high with his Night Owl video, story of a relationship told with his highly caracteristic poetic and absurd tone. It's now the turn of the Dent de Cuir collective, a group of Canadian and French directors to direct this new video. After releasing videos for Breakbot or The Shoes, they now present an hypnotizing visual trip in the spirit of the movie Drive.
