Every time Beyoncé releases a new album, it marks a turning point in the music industry and in pop culture at large. It always opens a brand-new and deeply impactful fashion era. On the artworks of her seventh record Renaissance released last Friday, the American singer turns herself into a dancefloor queen, channeling Diana Ross’ and Donna Summer’s styles with an added western and futuristic touch. Her hedonistic and sexy looks designed by Alaïa, Gucci, and Schiaparelli, among others, match her new disco-funk-house tracks. They invite us for a wild night back to the extravagance and glamour of Studio 54.
