“Vetements 2 Summercamp!”, the highly anticipated second book of the Vetements collective

After their first book was met with such resounding success, the Vetements collective is about to launch “Vetements 2 Summercamp!” a second work devoted to its Spring-Summer 2017 collection.

On the scene for just two and a half years, the Vetements collective led by Demna Gvasalia continues revolutionising the face of Parisian fashion. Their first book Vetements Summercamp published by Idea Books sold out in just one day during Fashion Week last January, instantly rendering it an unobtainable object of desire. Now the group of creative minds are back with a new book of 480 pages dedicated to its spring-summer 2017 collection presented at the Galeries Lafayette department store during Couture Week in January. With images by Pierre-Ange Carlotti taken in a château in the North of France where the group went into exile for the project, the book allows readers to admire the brand’s pieces crafted in collaboration with Juicy Couture, Brioni, Manolo Blahnik and Comme des Garçons among others, revealing yet again its remarkable sense of mise en scene.

Launch of Vetements 2 Summercamp! on October 3rd at 5.30pm at the Comme des Garçons Trading Museum, 54, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris 8th.
