On Sunday 26th January 2022, in a Star-Wars-like futuristic setting in Milan designed by Rem Koolhaas and his studio AMO, Prada presented its men's fall-winter 2022-2023 collection. Echoing the fall-winter 2012 show featuring Willem Dafoe, Gary Oldman, Tim Roth, Jamie Bell and Adrien Brody, this season Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons invited 10 key actors who embody today’s man: Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Game Of Thrones, The Queen’s Gambit), Asa Butterfield (Sex Education), Jeff Goldblum (Thor: Ragnarok, The Fly), Damson Idris (Snowfall, Outside the Wire), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks, Desperate Housewives) , Tom Mercier (Synonyms), Jaden Michael (Wonderstruck, The Get Down), Louis Partridge (Enola Holmes), Ashton Sanders (Moonlight) and Filippo Scotti (The Hand of God). A favourite of Miuccia Prada, the uniform –which she considers an everyday staple– is once again at the heart of this collection, in which references to sportswear are counterbalanced by clean, streamlined cuts. The shoulders of the double-breasted jackets and long belted coats are strong, while trousers and jumpsuits come in subtly coloured shiny satins.
